Growth Marketing Coordinator

An early-career marketing role for a strong writer and creative, analytical thinker who wants to help build, launch, and improve campaigns from end to end.

About Locafy

Locafy is a Nasdaq-listed marketing technology company with roughly 17 years of experience helping businesses improve their visibility in search. More than 10,000 businesses currently use Locafy across 44 countries.

Our newest product, Proteus™, gives small businesses a new website and helps them get discovered across Google, Maps, and AI search. We are bringing Proteus™ to more small businesses and building the marketing programs that will support its growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Coordinator with at least two years of experience who is equal parts creative and analytical. You should be a strong writer, full of ideas, comfortable working with data, and excited to take meaningful ownership of your work.

This is not a role where you’ll spend your time simply taking notes, scheduling meetings, or passing work between people. You’ll help create and execute real marketing campaigns, from developing the initial idea and writing the copy to launching the work, reviewing the results, and finding ways to improve it.

You’ll join Locafy at an important stage of growth. You’ll help us test new messages, develop campaigns, study what customers respond to, and turn successful ideas into repeatable marketing programs.

You’ll work directly with Locafy’s fractional CMO and contribute to campaign strategy as well as execution. You’ll learn how an experienced marketing leader develops offers, writes copy, evaluates creative, analyzes performance, and decides what to test next. You’ll receive hands-on guidance while getting the freedom to develop and test ideas of your own.

What You’ll Do

  • Help plan, build, launch, and analyze marketing campaigns that generate demand and qualified leads
  • Write clear, persuasive copy for Meta ads, landing pages, emails, direct mail, webinars, and other marketing channels
  • Develop new ad concepts, angles, hooks, and creative briefs
  • Create educational and promotional content across multiple formats and channels
  • Build polished, persuasive webinar slide decks and the campaigns that promote them
  • Create briefs for designers, video creators, and other creative partners
  • Review campaign data, identify what is and isn’t working, and recommend next steps
  • Review sales calls and customer feedback to find stronger messages, objections, and campaign ideas
  • Research customers, competitors, market trends, and creative inspiration
  • Coordinate campaign details and help keep projects moving from idea to launch
  • Work closely with internal teammates and external partners to execute marketing initiatives
  • Take on new projects as priorities and opportunities emerge

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years of experience in marketing, content, advertising, copywriting, or a related role
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear and compelling
  • A creative mind and an enthusiasm for coming up with fresh ideas, hooks, campaigns, and ways to communicate a message
  • An analytical mind and the ability to review performance data, spot patterns, and use what you learn to improve the next campaign
  • Good visual judgment and the ability to organize information into a clear, engaging presentation
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A proactive, resourceful working style; you ask good questions, solve problems, and don’t need every step mapped out for you
  • Comfort receiving feedback, revising your work, and learning through experimentation
  • Genuine curiosity about customers, marketing psychology, advertising, and what makes people take action
  • Interest in how AI is changing search, marketing, and the way customers discover businesses

What You’ll Get From This Role

  • Direct mentorship from Locafy’s fractional CMO
  • Real responsibility and meaningful ownership, not just administrative work
  • Exposure to the full marketing process, from strategy and creative development through launch and analysis
  • The opportunity to test new ideas, learn from the results, and improve quickly
  • A varied workload that builds skills across copywriting, paid advertising, content, webinars, direct mail, campaign strategy, and analytics
  • Room to grow your responsibilities as you demonstrate what you can do

You’ll Thrive Here If…

You’re early in your marketing career but ambitious about becoming excellent. You don’t want to be boxed into one narrow specialty. You want to understand how strong marketing actually gets made, contribute ideas of your own, and be trusted with work that matters.

You enjoy variety, move quickly, and want more responsibility than a traditional coordinator position usually provides. You’re comfortable starting with an idea that is not completely mapped out, asking smart questions, creating a strong first draft, and improving it through feedback and performance data.

You care more about producing strong work than protecting your ego. You’re organized enough to execute, curious enough to keep learning, and motivated by seeing your work go live and produce measurable results.
