Authorship

Locafy’s guides are published under the name of a real person accountable for them. Today that is Jason Jackson, Chief Operating Officer of Locafy Limited. Every article shows its author and publication date, and records the date of its last substantive update in its structured data.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to research topics, draft and structure articles, and check their wording. AI does not decide what we publish. Before an article goes live it is checked against an automated structure and readability standard, and it is published only when a Locafy team member approves it. Facts about the company come from one approved source, our official public record, so they read the same in every article and file.

We also publish machine-readable versions of this site for AI assistants and search engines, listed on our AI info page. They are generated from the same sources as the pages you read, and they contain facts and links, not instructions to the AI systems that read them.

Research and data

When we publish original research, we name the data source, the date the data was collected and its limitations, and we explain how we handled outliers. When we refresh a study, we state which snapshot each number comes from. Locafy is not included in the rankings of its own studies.

Customer stories and reviews

Our customer stories are built only from reviews that customers submitted and agreed to share. Quotes are verbatim. We do not add results, rankings or revenue figures that the customer did not state. You can read every review on our reviews page.

Our products in our guides

Locafy sells local and AI search products, and our guides sometimes mention them. When a guide recommends a Locafy product, the product is ours, and we link to its page so you can see exactly what it is.

Corrections

If you find an error on this site, or an AI assistant describes Locafy incorrectly, email support@locafy.com. We check the claim against its source, fix the page if it is wrong, and record the update date. Because our machine-readable files are built from the same sources, a correction on the site reaches them automatically. We keep a record of corrections and of the AI misstatements we have found about Locafy.

Historical versions of our content are recorded in a public provenance ledger.
